Cause Line™: Together We Can Change the World

Obermeyer Naturals Cause Line is a line of soaps that helps to benefit others. Five percent of Cause Line proceeds collectively benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation and The Nature Conservancy. The Cause Line adds three new fragrances to Obermeyer Naturals — Unscented, Evergreen and Vanilla — in bar soaps and bath and shower gels. As are all Obermeyer Naturals products, the Cause Line is 100% natural. "We developed the Cause Line because we want to make a difference and we want to give back to the community," says Denise Obermeyer from the company's headquarters in Minneapolis. "We chose these charities because we have been personally involved in them or affected by them."

National Breast Cancer Foundation
One woman in 8 has a chance of developing breast cancer. But, if detected and treated early, a woman has a 95% chance of being a 5 year survivor. Our Cause Line supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation because we want to see and know more survivors. The Foundation funds ongoing research to improve women's health care treatments and options. They also assist women in securing access to health education and mammograms. The Nature Conservancy
We chose to donate proceeds to The Nature Conservancy because of their forward thinking approach to habitat conservation. Their mission, simply put, is to ensure the biodiversity of Earth by protecting landscapes and seascapes. They accomplish this by using donated funds to purchase biodiverse areas and keep them safe from commercial and residential development. Their scientific methodology to identifying sites for protection, called Conservation By Design, is respected internationally as a model for conservation and development planning.

Founded in 1951, The Nature Conservancy works in all 50 United States and 27 countries worldwide. They protected more than 117 million acres of land and 5,000 miles of river around the world. They operate more than 100 marine conservation projects in 21 countries and 22 U.S. states.
